Clay County HRA Employment Opportunities

Internships and Temporary Positions Available

 Are you looking for an internship or temporary employment this winter? The HRA of Clay County is looking for full-time or part-time energetic, positive, organized, dependable individuals to help us fulfill our mission. We serve low-income families and individuals who need assistance maintaining or paying for their housing. Many of our households have recently exited homelessness.

Must be a fast learner, have the ability to pass a criminal background check, take direction and like working in a fast-paced environment while performing multiple duties.  Position duties and responsibilities are varied but could include assisting with rental assistance, property management, support services, accounting, human resources, tech support, and general maintenance.

Ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills; familiarity with all general office or maintenance equipment; computer skills; and the ability to work well with diverse populations. Requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license and at least 18 years of age of older.  Wage is $13.50 per hour for temporary full or part-time employees and $12.00 per hour for full or part-time interns. Normal hours are 8-4:30, M-F.
